We’ve sold 10 racing/broodmare prospects for $1 million or more, including Hidden Connection, a star for the Hidden Brook Racing Partnership, for $1.5 million at the 2024 Keenland November sale. We also sold the 2010 Fasig-Tipton November sale topper Awesome Feather for $2.3 million and Spun Sugar at Keeneland November for $4.5 million, the #2 commercial mare of her year.
At Keeneland September alone, Hidden Brook has sold over $56 million worth of yearlings. At the 2024 September Sale, Hidden Brook sold a $600,00 Constitution colt, a $575,000 Medaglia d’O filly and a $350,000 colts by Good Magic, Gun Runner and Quality Road.
At the Two-Year-Old in Training sales, Hidden Brook has sold promising prospects for $600,000, $550,000, $500,000 $375,000, $350,000, $300,000, etc.
Our $116,250 average at the 2024 Fasig-Tipton Midlantic May 2-Year-Old Sale was 18% higher than the sale average (a sale record $95,425). At the 2023 OBS April sale, Hidden Brook sold a Blame filly for $550,000, the highest-priced juvenile filly ever sold by that stallion. Since 2015, Hidden Brook juveniles have sold for an average price 36% higher than the sale.
Many important runners have graduated from a Hidden Brook shedrow to a Saturday afternoon winner’s circle. Hidden Brook has offered 25 Grade 1 winners, including 8-time Grade 1 winner and Hall of Fame nominee Game on Dude ($6,498,893), Breeders’ Cup Classic champion Mucho Macho Man (in utero) ($5,626,410) and Japanese G1 winner Moain ($2,875,508). Queen´s Plate heroine/Champion/Millionaire Moira and multiple Grade 1 winner/Breeders´ Cup Sprint runner-up Dr. Schivel are among our latest stars. Dr. Schivel was also foaled & raised at Hidden Brook Farm. In 2024, Keeneland September grad West Saratoga became the latest Hidden Brook-connected runner to qualify for the Kentucky Derby.
