Ivory Moon scored a wire-to-wire victory in the nightcap at Gulfstream Park, a 5.5 furlong turf Allowance.
Making her first start since late August, the newly turned 4-year-old was hustled to the early lead by Hall of Famer John Velasquez. She blazed through fractions of :21.46 and 44.34 and had plenty left to hold her nine challengers at bay, crossing the finish line one length to the good. She stopped the clock in a sharp :55.89.
Ivory Moon was purchased 2021 Fasig-Tipton October Yearling sale by the astute Hidden Brook team who race the filly in partnership with longtime friend Gary Barber. Trained by Bryan Lynch, the daughter of Ransom the Moon was prepped for her 2024 campaign at the renowned Hidden Brook Florida training center.
