Hidden Brook tops sale at Fasig-Tipton February

Valentine’s Day roses came early for the connections of Rose to Gold when she brought down the hammer at a sales topping $450,000 Monday night at Fasig-Tipton Kentucky.
Offered as the third last horse in the ring near the end of the two-day Winter mixed sale, multiple graded stakes winner Rose to Gold was purchased by WinStar Farm as a broodmare prospect. Plans are to breed her to top stallion Tiznow.
Rose to Gold, by Friends Lake out of the Tabasco Cat mare Saucy was bred by the Mulholland family of Mulholland Farm and earned nearly $1 million on the racetrack.
