Hidden Brook Racing closes down the 2015 season with successes across the board. Race earnings, sales, total revenue and average earnings per start surpassed the marks set in 2014. In only its fifth year, the select HB Racing roster saw total revenue climb beyond the $1,000,000 dollar mark, reaching $1,148,341 for 2015.
Hidden Brook Racing, since its inception in 2010, has generated a total $2,564,207 in race earnings, with average earnings per start of $9,125. Our overall win percentage is 18%, with an in-the-money percentage of 50%. Our total sales are over $2,500,000, giving us over $5,000,000 in total revenue!
This past year we enjoyed the winner’s circle with several runners, led by Catch My Drift, a multiple graded stakes placed earner of $280,540. Aleardy a star performer with a second in the 2014 G3 Turnback the Alarm Handicap, Catch My Drift won the Summer Colony Stakes at Saratoga this August.
In her last start in September 2015, the Pioneerof the Nile filly ran third in the G1 Beldame Stakes at Belmont. Entered in the Keeneland November sale as a potential broodmare prospect, Catch My Drift brought a final bid of $400,000 from buyer WinStar Farm.
Stakes placed talent Neck of the Moon also brought us some excitement with two wins this year, including a third placed effort in the Ticonderoga Stakes at Belmont. The More Than Ready mare finished up 2015 with a career total of $271,245.
