Undefeated Two Year Old RIKER wins Swynford S.

Sunday, September 6, 2015

Hidden Brook purchase Riker landed his third victory in a row in the Swynford Stakes at Woodbine Saturday to remain perfect in his young career.
Romping to an easy two-and-a-half length, wire-to-wire win in the $125,000, seven furlong two-year-old event, 3-5 favorite Riker notched his second career stakes win for rider Jessie Campbell and trainer Nicholas Gonzalez. The Include colt also won the Colin Stakes at Woodbine in July.
Owned by Carlo and Lou Tucci, Riker was a $60,000 purchase from the Paul Sharp consignment at the 2015 Ocala Breeders’ Sales spring sale. Bred by Turner Breeders, Riker is out of the Unreal Zeal mare Desviacion.
Congratulations to all!
