Hidden Brook Farm announces the acquisition of Scanlon Training Center, in a joint venture with Randy Bradshaw.
Mark Roberts, who directs Hidden Brook South, and Wyoming native Randy Bradshaw will relocate their respective operations from the Adena Springs South facility.
“I am very pleased and proud to partner with Hidden Brook on the purchase of the Scanlon Training Center,” said Bradshaw. “It’s an outstanding opportunity to expand my breaking and training operation at a facility with an exceptional reputation. We’ll conduct each of our operations independently; we will divide the land and share the three-quarter mile dirt racetrack. I have excellent relationships with the entire Hidden Brook team, and look forward to working alongside them as we grow our business interests.”
Roberts said, “I think I can speak for the entire Hidden Brook team and say that we are, to a man, incredibly excited about the purchase of the training center. We all know the quality of the horses that were broken and trained at the facility under the care of Bob and David. It’s very reassuring to know that horses such as Unbridled’s Song, Stevie Wonderboy, Lion Heart, Sarava, Bernardini, War Pass, Afleet Alex, Stay Thirsty, Desert Party, and the great filly Rags to Riches all started their remarkable careers on this racetrack.”
Immediate plans for the 125-acre facility include the construction of a 32-stall barn and the addition of an inner turf course.
The training center is located at19431 NE 17 Pl, Williston, FL 32696.
